Mmm, more candy ^_^

I have a love of tins... don't ask me why, I'm not even sure. I picked up a new one the other day while I was out. This hand-sized M&M holds a small amount of chocolate yummies. Personally, I'm happy because I like M&Ms, which I don't get that often, and I have a new tin for my collection. ^_^

My Love of Lindt

I'm a big fan of lindt lindor truffles, especially the white chocolate ones, and I treat myself to one occasionally. I was going to treat myself to one today when I saw a lindt lindor truffles bar displayed above the individually wrapped truffles. I don't think I blinked before I was buying it.

The packaging is a thin card stock instead of crinkly wrappings, which I like (the card stock, not the crinkle). Inside is the sealed foil wrapper, hiding inside 18 oh-so-freakin'-yummy treats. That's right, I said it.

By far, this is my favourite treat. At least, it is at this moment, because I can't think of anything more yummy and happy right now.

Seeking Balance...

There's been a bunch of things going on these past some weeks, and I'm getting settled into a new routine.

Day 2 of I Quit
I'm sick of it, I've had it, I'm done. I quit. I decided yesterday that I was through with smoking. I've gone large stretches of time without cigarettes before, so I'm fully aware that it is possible for me to quit... so why shouldn't I be able to this time, right?

I need to focus some time in the coming week to set of a few extra shelves in the pantry of the new apartment... two shelves simply aren't enough.

Trip to Texas

Well, I'm back from my trip to Texas, and I have a few pictures to share. If it wasn't two in the morning, I'd have more to say about the trip, but I am kind of tired (except my damn brain won't let me sleep until I do this).

This is one of my mum's cat, Mungojerrie (I think that's the right way to spell it... I'm not entirely sure). I call him Jer-Jer Binks. He's not much of a lover during the day, but be prepared for three am purrs for some reason.

Here's her other cat, Mikato (again, not sure about the spelling). We just call him Mic. He's more playful than Jer-Jer, and affectionate on his own terms.

I was in this pool pretty much every day... you have no idea how much I enjoyed that!

Yes, that's right... it says "Drive Thru Adult Drinks 2 Go". Seriously, this was a drive-thru margarita place. DRIVE THRU!? I'm telling you, Texas is a bit ass-backwards in my book.

Since we were so close to San Antonio, there was no excuse not to go to the real Alamo. I admit, I went more to be able to say I've been there, and not so much out of actual interest. It was interesting, though.

I was more interested in taking pictures of the local scenery than the building (also, pictures couldn't be taken inside the buildings).

What can I say, it was an interesting plant I saw.

I tried to get a good angle on this gigantic oak tree they had outside of the Alamo; apparently this was the first tree that was transported from one location to another post-growth. (Yes, I'm sorry, I didn't actually memorize the information they had about it...)

Ah, the joy of random plant pictures. It's some kind of flower that I don't know the name of... but it looked nice, okay?

Another flower that I do not know the name of...

Taking a trip

In all likelihood, I will be inactive until next month, as I am going on a trip to Texas to visit my mum. ^_^

My Spaz!

I made a few of my own embellishments for this one... if anyone is interested in them, I can easily make them freebies ^_^
